Private tours

Tailor-made private group tours

If you’re traveling with family, friends, or your partner and prefer not to share a group, we’ll build your tour from scratch with you. It’s not a fixed package: you choose the pace, hotels, interests, and dates, and we’ll put all the pieces together.

What is a private tour?

A trip designed just for your group. No strangers, no imposed schedules. You decide how many days you have, what you want to experience, and when you want to leave, and we take care of everything: boutique hotels, private transfers, local Spanish-speaking guides, and tailor-made experiences.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about group tours in Thailand

A group tour is an organized trip with fixed dates and itinerary that you share with other travelers. At Thaindesita, group tours are conducted in small, Spanish-speaking groups (maximum 12 people) with a local Spanish-speaking guide, so it’s not a tourist bus tour: it’s an intimate experience where you meet people who come to Thailand with the same interests.

group tour has fixed dates and is shared with other people booking the same trip. A private tour is designed for you and your group (family, friends, partner) with customized dates, hotels, and activities, without sharing with strangers. Private tours are usually 20–40% more expensive per person, but give you complete flexibility in terms of pace.

Yes. Most of our travelers join group tours on their own. In fact, it’s the best way to travel to Thailand, meeting new people who speak your language without the barriers of a massive organized tour.

Between 2 and 12 travelers maximum, depending on the program. Some tours (like the Phi Phi tour) are limited to 8 people to avoid overcrowding the boats. If the group does not reach the minimum (usually 4 people), we reserve the right to confirm the departure; in that case, we will refund 100% of your deposit or offer you the option to reschedule for another date.

30% deposit is required upon confirmation. The remaining 70% is due 60 days prior to departure. Secure payment is available by card (Stripe) or bank transfer. If we cancel due to insufficient bookings, we will refund 100% of your deposit; if you cancel, the policy specified for each program applies.

We offer group tours practically year-round. The best time to visit is from November to March (dry and sunny weather). Songkran (April) is Thai New Year, a truly unique experience. June–August is the green season with short rainy days, fewer tourists, and lower prices. Check the exact dates for each tour.
